  IV。CONCLUSION>FromtheprecedinginvestigationitfollowsthatA。Thedifferentportionsintowhichcapitalmustbedividedinorderthatonepartofitmaybecontinuallyintheworkingperiodwhileothersareintheperiodofcirculation,relieveoneanother,likedifferentindependentindividualcapitals,intwocases:1whentheworkingperiodisequaltotheperiodofcirculation,sothattheperiodofturnoverisdividedintotwoequalsections;2whentheperiodofcirculationislongerthantheworkingperiod,butatthesametimeisasimplemultipleoftheworkingperiod,sothatoneperiodofcirculationisequaltonworkingperiods,inwhichcasenmustbeawholenumber。Inthesecasesnoportionofthesuccessivelyadvancedcapitalissetfree。

  Averyconsiderableportionofthesocialcirculatingcapital,whichisturnedoverseveraltimesayear,willthereforeperiodicallyexistintheformofreleasedcapitalduringtheannualturnovercycle。
  Itisfurthermoreevidentthat,allothercircumstancesbeingequal,themagnitudeofthereleasedcapitalgrowswiththevolumeofthelabour-processorwiththescaleofproduction,hencewiththedevelopmentofcapitalistproductioningeneral。InthecasecitedunderB,2,becausethetotaladvancedcapitalincreases;inB1,becausewiththedevelopmentofcapitalistproductionthelengthoftheperiodofcirculationgrows,hencealsotheperiodofturnoverinthosecaseswheretheworkingperiodislessthantheperiodofcirculation,andthereisnoregularratiobetweenthetwoperiods。
